Lina Radzuinas graduated from the Recreation Leadership Program in 1979. While attending Centennial College, Lina represented the Colts on the women's volleyball team. During her time as a Colt, Lina participated in the 1979 Women's Volleyball Championship, hosted by Canadore College in North Bay. At that time, Centennial entered the tournament representing the Central Division. The team competed hard but the Colts finished with a 2-3 record resulting in a 4th-place finish.
Although the team's championship quest for gold had fallen short, Lina ended the season on a high note. At the 1979 athletic awards banquet Lina Radzuinas was awarded the women's volleyball team's Most Valuable Player and the Centennial Colts Female Athlete of the Year.
