The Golden Shield were victorious once again taking the win over the Colts Men's Soccer team by a score of 2-1. The Colts fought hard throughout the whole game, after firing more shot attempts than the competition. Centennial took 24 shots with 11 on goal and Cambrian took 18 with 8 on goal. Nico Koutroubis made 6 saves while Cambrians Even Phillips made 10. Cambriantook the win scorign early with a goal from David Nwaokolo followed by Marco Armiento, but Centennial's Kareem Marzouk swept in to put one away for the Colts before the Half ended. The second half remained scoreless as the game ended the same way it did at the half as on the final whistle. It unfortunately wasn't enough to take the game. The team remains hopeful to win the fight for the last game of the season. The Men's Soccer team final home game will take place against the Fleming Knights at the Colts Pitch, Progress Campus on Wednesday, October 19th at 8:00pm.
