The Colts Ladies Volleyball team went up against the Durham Lords on Thursday coming out defeated with a 0-3 loss. The game took place at Centennial's home court following a previous win at La Cite. The Colts put on a strong defense throughout the match, but the Lords came out victorious this time around.
Durham took the lead throughout the game starting with the first set 25-22 with Centennial came back strong the second set 25-19 and finally 25-15 in the last set. The ladies continued to fight all the way to the end but unfortunately it still wasn't enough to take the win. The top players for the game were Mari Pikkov with 11 kills, 23 attacks and 8 digs followed by Tryscelle Lin with 6 kills, 17 attacks and 4 digs. Kadeisha Powell-Graham also gave a strong defense with 13 digs and Brittany Somers with 25 assists. The Lords' Allison Marshall played a solid game with 14 kills, 20 attacks and 4 digs along with Megan Romain with 29 assists.
Next up for the Colts is vs. Georgian on December 4th at 1:00pm. Coming up after the holiday break, the team will go against the Loyalist on January 11th.
