Trevor Challenger returns for his third season to take over leading the Colts. After a season of growth and development with a young team in 2015-2016, Challenger is poised to take the team to new heights. Challenger was previously an associate coach with the Seneca College in North York, Ontario, from 2012 - 2015. 

Trevor has been mentoring student-athletes in CCAA, TDSB and CIS for over 16 years, instilling theimportance of education and teamwork. Coach Challengerprides himself on teaching core values, morals and ethics, while challenging young adults to be professional both on and off the court. Trevor has coached many athletes who have seen success on several levels including high school, college, university and professionally.  Trevor was instrumental on developing 2 CCAA All Canadians Ndale Philbert (George Brown College 2006) and Felix Adjei (Seneca College 2013).  A Level 3 certified coach, Trevor has been a basketball instructor at various camps and clinics throughout the GTA.

During his playing days, Trevor was three-time Ontario high school medalist in basketball and track & field.  He was also honored as a Toronto Star High School All-Star (3 times) while at Runnymede CI. Besides playing in Canada Trevor attended Prep School and College in the United States. Mr.Challenger also won the 1997 OCAA Provincial Championship & CCAA National Championship with Durham College. He also has a OUA Provincial Championship attained while at Ryerson University.

Aside from his coaching duties at Centennial, Trevor is the Head Coach for Central Toronto Academy Junior Boys Basketball Team and is currently in his second season.  Trevor has seen action as an assistant coach at George Brown College (2004 -2007), and Seneca College (2012 – 2015) and now joins Centennial. He believes that his basketball philosophies will mesh well with the COLTS culture in helping student-athletes to prepare for success in the years to come.
