History

 A standout student-athlete, Eric transitioned from power forward to guard on the Men’s Varsity Basketball team and earned MVP honours in 1972–73. His lifelong contributions to Centennial and the community have been recognized with the Premier’s Award and Alumnus of Distinction, reflecting his belief that athletics build skills essential for lifelong success.

Eric Heidendahl is a Centennial College alumnus (Electronics Technology–Engineering, Class of 1974) whose career spans broadcast engineering, leadership, and education. He held senior roles with Global Television, TSN (as its first Engineering Manager), Dome Productions, and Sony, where he led major projects and worked extensively in Japan before becoming a Professor and Program Coordinator at Loyalist College.
